They asked us to be a part of a new show called “Family Food Showdown”, which required all three of our siblings to compete against another family of siblings. When they detailed the show, I immediately thought, what an answer to prayer! Having been in the Cd’A location for a year, we didn’t realize we had to battle so diligently against a corporate-owned reputation that many thought MoMo was merely a name change. With a frugal startup budget, marketing “family-owned” required a lot of creative thinking and prayerful days. The Food Network platform would be our megaphone. We are a family-owned restaurant, working with tender, love and care for the food and the experience of our guests.
